Jade & Simon's Destination Wedding at the Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa

Jade & Simon devoted their lives to one another on a rainy Fiji afternoon surrounded by close family and friends at the Hilton Fiji on Denarau Island.

We spent the whole day with the lovely couple and as dark clouds hung threateningly overhead from around midday, it was fortunate that Jade and Simon had allowed for a First Look session with us before the ceremony. This gave us plenty of time before the rain set in to capture their first look, couple portraits and bridal party photos, all before the ceremony! This set the tone for their beautiful, relaxed ceremony that followed.

The ceremony was originally intended to be held at the Hilton beachfront but was moved under shelter to the Hilton’s Maravu Restaurant on the beach, which has plenty of decking area and was used as the reception venue as well. This venue offers a great view of our famous Fiji sunsets and an uninterrupted panorama of the beachfront.

I really enjoyed working with Jade & Simon; they did not let the rain dull their excitement and happiness on their wedding day and it really shouldn’t, as there are still so many great photo opportunities even if you are blessed with rain on your special day!
